Southaven Bound!

The 10U and 11U Teams are heading to Southaven, MS for their first tournament. This should prove to be a unique experience for both coaches and players. The teams have decided to have this be a “team building” tournament. The coaches have taken on the daring task of taking a road trip with the players. The players will ride, dine, and stay with the coaches.

The team departed Friday at noon and the boys were very eager to hit the road!

Saturday

Today was a tough day for the boys. The first game for both teams was played in the cold rain. The 10U team lost 7-3. The 11U team was tied at the end, but had to finish using OT rules and lost 15-8. They both lost a hard fought second game as well. But the boys and coaches still didn’t give up. Both teams played again Sat evening and came up with victories! Both teams will play bracketed play on Sunday.
